North Haven Education Foundation
 Established in 2004, the North Haven Education Foundation’s mission is to: “encourage and support academic excellence by providing funds for projects or initiatives that enhance or extend learning opportunities for students and the community beyond the conventional resources of the school system.”
Through generous personal and corporate donations, the foundation has already raised over $140,000 and allocated over $60,000 to fulfill its mission. Projects have included: The Herbert Pearce Robotics Program and the Tagliatela Family Technology Lab in the Middle School; and the Initiative in Development for Elementary School Science Labs; as well as almost a dozen Creativity Grants awarded to classrooms throughout the school system.
